Cottage Club Hotel | Commercial

The Cottage Club Hotel is an exceptional opportunity for an adventurous visionary to meld seamlessly into the gentle pace of life on Saba, an island filled with authentic Caribbean charm.

This unique compound combines all the iconic elements that define Saban beauty and make the island so appealing to visitors—natural beauty, picturesque architecture, gentle pace of life. At the Cottage Club, the island’s renowned natural wonders set the stage. Lush tropical gardens filled with stately palms, glorious rainforest vegetation and brilliant tropical flowers are interspaced with stone walkways leading to each of the compound’s collection of picturesque cottages. Breathtaking 360 degree views flow from every window, door and terrace. Endless vistas of the azure ocean are accented with billowing trade wind clouds and the magical peaks of St Martin and St Bart’s. Mt Scenery, the highest peak on Saba, rises upward behind the hotel. Lower peaks create a perfect feng shui connection with the sea.

Each of the compound’s 10 cottages is constructed in picturesque Saba vernacular, a building style quite unique in the Caribbean and a favorite subject of painters and photographers. Red zinc roofs combine with white clapboard and shingle siding, traditional shutters and Caribbean gingerbread trim to form each structure. The interiors are peaceful and serene in pure white accented with pops of tropical color. Traditional high beamed ceilings float over the interiors. Each charming cottage contains a large, airy and comfortable studio with modern en suite bathroom, seating area with TV and WiFi, fully equipped kitchen plus dining area and a private terrace overlooking the sea. The décor is an eclectic and visually interesting blend of antiques, teak and contemporary furnishings all with eye pleasing appeal. The rooms are configured as either double, queen or king.

The Club’s general activities are housed in an elegant two story Great House, built of native stone and surrounded by wide terraces and balconies. The Great House contains a large reception area, comfortable lobby and dining area for breakfast. The upper level features two bedrooms and bath that can either function as the owner/manager living area or as guest rooms. Additional guest amenities include a beautiful tropical pool surrounded by a tile deck and lush garden. An on-site laundry room and storage provide additional guest convenience.

Although quite secluded at the end of a private road, The Cottage Club is a short walk to the restaurants, shops and activities of the charming and historical village of Windwardside. Currently The Cottage Club is an established and thriving 24 year old business that can either be continued as a small, elegant hotel or configured into a private compound for family or fractional ownership. The buildings sit on a large parcel of land that easily allows for expansion of the compound’s current configuration. Additional cottages, a restaurant and spa would make ideal additions to the current amenities offering.
